I started work June 2008 where I met Jeff. We talked about Hockey and argued about trivial things. I use to make fun of him and thought he needed to grow up. There were no at office love shenanigans. He left in Aug 2008. I had a boyfriend until Nov 2008. Jeff and I were Myspace friends and would talk once in a while. We met up in Feb for a co-workers goodbye party...he was invited but someone. Him and I talked and were flirty. We're nothing a like! But that is okay, who wants to be with someone that is just like yourself?

Posted January 7th, 2012 by mrslaff5My husband and I were married on 6/12/10.
We met in college, but were both shy. So, despite the fact that we were attracted to one another, nothing came of it. A year later, my roommate formally introduced us. We were inseparable ever since. Alex proposed to me in November of 2008 and we immediately planned our wedding to take place on Loving Day in 2010.
Alex (who is Colombian) was adopted by Caucasian parents at around 9 months of age. His parents were so accepting of our relationship and marriage.

Posted June 23rd, 2011 by mrskisorI met the love of my life 25 years ago in high school. I was the only black person in an all white Christian School. Even in a Christian setting, there was bias so we never said anything. We parted ways and married other people. Last year, we reconnected on Facebook and it was like we never parted.
We were married Saturday, June 11th as close to Loving Day as we could get. My black family supported us, but his white family barely said a word. We blended all 4 of our children and plan to live happily ever after!
Our album is here:

Posted June 10th, 2011 by fhpenMy wife, Patti and I, were married on Loving Day, 1971. We did not know it as Loving Day at the time. We got married in Carson City, Nevada, with only one couple (friends of ours) present. We eloped because we were an interfaith couple whose parents did not approve of our relationship. We have been happily together for 40 years.

Posted May 18th, 2011 by mrskisorWe met in high school when I attended as the only black female in the whole school. When we graduated, we parted ways and married other people. 25 years later we made our way back to each other and we are getting married June 11, 2011. Our symbol is the yin-yang because we are truly an interracial couple who made our way back to each other! We don't even really have the money to do so, but we are doing what we can to blend our families and celebrate the freedom to spend the rest of our lives together without prejudice!

Posted September 6th, 2010 by lilbit13Todd and I met in December 2008. On August 27th, we officially became engaged to be married. We have chosen June 10th, as close to Loving Day as possible for us to marry. We want to celebrate and offer thanks to those that have made this possible for us, a black man and white woman. We would love to know of how others have done the same and share ideas.
