Loving Day On Campus
Welcome to Loving Day On Campus, a resource guide to help students around the world connect, share, and inspire.
Students often celebrate Loving Day between Valentine’s Day and the end of the spring semester. Through a wide variety of efforts, students have been able to spread the word about our important milestone in civil rights history and contributed to their campus community. We want every student and organization to have the best event possible, so we have created this page to help!
If you are a student, this page is for you to gather ideas, communicate with other campuses, and share your success stories! Follow the lead of Washington University in St. Louis, University of Maryland College Park, Smith College, New York University, Wesleyan, and many more by hosting your own unique celebration. Loving Day is fun, it’s easy, and it can be anything you want: film screening, panel discussion, dance party, dinner, concert, performance, picnic on the quad, night out, etc!
We love our student leaders and hope you will become part of the growing Loving Day community. And, don’t forget to share your celebration with us on our website - you’ll inspire others to do the same!
