Adult and family friendly activities, supper, conversation. Persons living in multi-ethnic families through interracial marriage, trans-racial or overseas adoption, or foster care giving are invited to celebrate the gift of human diversity at one of the three Loving Day events in Northern Illinois on June 9, 2007. These Loving Day events celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Supreme Court decision in Loving v. Virginia which struck down miscegenation laws in the United States. These events are organized by the Anti-racism Team of the Northern Illinois Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. All are invited and welcome to celebrate with us.
