Lily and I are both in Japan this year doing hapa-related research projects (hers involves oral histories of post-war hapas, mine involves the U.S. military and Okinawa). Although we're members of online hapa and multicultural groups, we've never had the chance to attend an event. We'd love to meet other members.
We'll both be in Tokyo on Thursday, June 11 and would love it if you could join us for dinner. We'll meet at the Elephant Cafe near Shibuya station for SE Asian food, drinks, conversation, and a Loving Day celebration.
